What dual authority means for you: better standards and better rates. We run moves ourselves, so we know exactly what to demand from any carrier we place a move with, and carriers know we can tell good work from cheap work. And because every move can be priced two ways, on our own equipment or with a preferred carrier at volume-negotiated rates, your written estimate is the better of the two numbers. Either way the move is under federal authority, the carrier is named on your paperwork before move day, and your coordinator is accountable for the result. Companies that hide which role they are playing are the ones to worry about, we put ours in writing.

Our standards are enforced through our own operating discipline: written pricing, full-value protection availability, vetted carriers with reviewed safety records, and a senior coordinator on every move.

Every AmeriSafe move is covered by cargo and liability coverage that meets or exceeds federal requirements, and every carrier we place a move with must have current coverage verified on file before the move is assigned. Certificates of insurance are issued within 24 hours, with additional insureds added at no charge.

Full-value protection is available on every move and is the recommended option for households with high-value items. Released coverage (60¢ per pound, per item) is the federal default and is included free on every move.
