Packing is quoted up front, with labor and materials itemized into AmeriSafe's written estimate and locked in writing before the truck rolls (binding on qualifying moves). There are no per-box or per-roll-of-tape charges added on move day; the price changes only by a signed addendum you approve.
Does having movers pack affect my insurance coverage?
It helps it. Professional packing comes with a photographed, room-by-room inventory log that keeps full-value protection claims clean, since there is no dispute over how items were packed. Free released protection at 60 cents per pound per item applies by default, with full-value protection available on top.
